A: Booking is simple! Fill out the contact form on the website with details about the session type, availability, and preferred contact method. Katie will then schedule a consultation to discuss pricing, session details, and vision before finalizing the booking.
Q: How does the booking process work?
A: Once your consultation is complete, you will receive:
- A session contract outlining the details of your shoot.
- A separate invoice for payment.
- Confirmation of your booking upon receipt of the signed contract and deposit/payment. Your deposit locks your session in and is subjected from the total amount due.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: It’s best to book 2-4 weeks in advance, as Katie’s availability fills quickly. For commercial, editorial, or high-production shoots, reaching out earlier ensures the best scheduling options.
Q: Do you offer mini sessions?
A: Yes! Seasonal mini sessions are offered at select times throughout the year. These are announced on social media and the website, so be sure to follow for updates!

A: Katie prices per project, rather than per hour or per image. This allows her to offer the most cost-effective quote based on session complexity, prep work, supplies, editing time, and any additional elements.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major forms of payment, including credit and debit cards, digital payment platforms, and payment plans. We do not accept checks, bank transfers or money orders.

A: Yes! We offer professional hair and makeup services by a skilled makeup artist as an add-on to any session.
Q: Do you provide wardrobe options?
A: Absolutely! We offer:
- A client wardrobe with carefully curated pieces for styling. **To the best of our abilities we offer wardrobe selection but do not carry all multiple sizes in all garments or provide shoes or intimate wear.
- Custom wardrobe design/creation for unique, one-of-a-kind looks. **Believe it or not, your ladies at Studio Create hand-make couture garments, accessories and jewelry!
- Assistance in choosing the perfect outfit from your own collection or to purchase for your session.
Q: Can you create a custom set or concept for my session?
A: Yes! Katie and Briana, as a team, specialize in custom set builds and themed concepts for fantasy, fine art, and conceptual portraits. These sessions require additional planning, so reach out early to discuss your vision.
Preparing for Your Session
Q: What should I wear for my photoshoot?
A: Wardrobe depends on your session type. Katie provides style guidance to ensure your look enhances your vision. If you select a session that includes wardrobe styling, custom options may be available.
Q: Can I bring props or accessories?
A: Absolutely! Personal items, themed props, or meaningful accessories can add a unique touch to your session. Let Katie know in advance if you have specific ideas.
Q: Can I bring a guest to my session?
A: Yes! A friend, family member, or partner is welcome to accompany you! We are a safe space for all of our guests and have amenities like guest WIFI and restaurants right next door!
After Your Session
Q: How long does it take to receive my photos?
A: Standard turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, depending on session complexity and editing requirements. If this is a special occasion or holiday themed session, please make sure to schedule at least a week before you need your edits. We can put a priority on time sensitive projects!
Q: How will I receive my images?
A: Through your own personal online gallery with hi-def digital download and print options available at-cost through your gallery.
Q: Can I choose my images I want edited?
A: We handle the selection process to ensure you receive the best quality images. From hundreds of shots, we narrow them down to about 30 of the strongest, considering lighting, focus, and pose. This ensures you get a refined, professional selection without duplicates or missed details
Q: Can I share my photos on social media?
A: Absolutely! Katie encourages clients to share their images and tag her. However, images may not be altered, cropped, or filtered to maintain the integrity of the artwork.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Q: What if I need to reschedule my session?
A: Katie allows one reschedule at no additional cost if requested at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling within 48 hours of the session may incur a fee.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor session?
A: If weather conditions make an outdoor shoot impossible, Katie will work with you to reschedule or move the session indoors.
Q: Does Katie offer refunds?
A: Due to the custom nature of her work, all payments are non-refundable. However, Katie is happy to accommodate rescheduling or adjustments to your session if needed.
